Mushin Traders protest over Google Camera in Nigeria

Furious Mushin Traders formed a human barrier to stop a Google camera photographing their homes and shops in Mushin.

They feared having their homes/ shops on Google’s Street View would make them a target for burglars. Residents surrounded a Google car mounted with the camera ads started chanting we no go gree we no gree , get the tyres make we burn them oya ooo, the camera men from google picked race.

 

Ayo Alayonbere, 45, who led protests in the north side of Mushin, Bucks, said: "I saw the car driving down the lane and my reaction was anger. How dare anyone take a photo of our homes and shops without my consent?

 

The Lagos state Goverment introduced the crime busting initiative following a visit from President Obonjo to the capital. Obonjo explained how he had to introduce the Google cameras in Lafta Republic to reduce crime he suggested doing the same in Lagos it will stop the following

 

1. Eradictate bribery at Police Check Points

2. People will arive on time to work no more extended Lunch Breaks

3.Reduce the number of Police men on the take

4. No more pissing on walls

5. Identify ghosts walking at the middle of the night

6. Identify which restaurants in Ondo state cook with dogs or not

7. Understand whether the woman who sells akara is really a witch or not

8 Understand what really goes on within Govaments

9. Undertand what goes on in peopls' homes

10. No more rigging of the elections be it state , house or federal elections , u will be able to see wat goes into the ballot box

11. Understand how Nollywood Actors and Actresses got their parts

12. Did she really sleep with oga and lots more

13. Who pays their tithe in Church and where your contributions go to the church coffers or the account of the leader

 

Nigerian Armed Robbers are keen for the Govament to speed up the installation of cameras in the whole of Nigeria
